Granbury ISD’s Customer Care awards were presented to STARS Accelerated High School during Breakfast with the Board on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
Jason Milligan and Jasmin Cervantes were presented Customer Care Awards, a recognition award given to deserving employees. At the presentation, STARS Principal Margaret Rodriquez praised Jason and Jasmin for their dedication to the district, campus, and to the students.
“Jason’s commitment to self-direction is truly inspiring,” said Rodriquez. “Not only does he go meet students where they are during the school day, but he also takes it upon himself to create meaningful community service opportunities for students outside of the school day. Mr. Milligan has fully embraced and implemented the Capturing Kids’ Hearts processes, and it’s clear that he truly embodies what it means to have a kid’s heart. His leadership and dedication help students grow not just academically, but as compassionate, responsible citizens. Thank you for being a remarkable example of self-direction and for making such a lasting impact on our students and community!”
“Jasmin’s self-direction is truly remarkable,” added Rodriquez. “She sees what needs to be done and is always willing to lend a helping hand, never waiting to be asked. Mrs. Cervantes' selflessness and desire to contribute to our school community are inspiring. The way she engages students with fun and creativity at the door, getting to know them personally through Capturing Kids’ Hearts processes, shows just how much heart she puts into everything she does. Thank you for your dedication, for being a positive force, and for always going the extra mile to make our school a better place for everyone.”
The district thanks EECU for the gifts presented to Customer Care winners.
